Capturing Collective Movement Ottawa
With authenticity at the core of this brand shoot, we opted to capture snippets of different movement class styles over two half-day shoot dates in Ottawa this past spring, building a giant, diverse library of imagery for Collective Movement to use across all their marketing. Alongside these candid images, we captured portraits with the Movement team by balancing stiller poses with some super-hard-to-focus-on-but-so-fun-to-shoot high-energy portraits.
Capturing this variety of movement was a workout in itself, and I had an absolute blast circling around the room capturing everyone doing their thing to the blasting music in this dreamy lowly-lit environment. A huge thanks to the team at Collective Movement (formerly movement by nh) for trusting me to capture this special space and these special people. It was such an honour to be part of this project.
