Mentorship has played a huge role in my journey as a photographer and entrepreneur. Whether it’s been through formal mentorship or just a casual coffee chat, I’ve worked through inevitable sticky points in my career with the support of people I admire—some I’ve just met, some outside the photography world, and, of course, photographers that inspire me. Having the chance to bounce ideas around and gain fresh, wide-ranging perspectives has always been a solve in helping me find clarity in how I want to grow.
Years of experience, and years of support, have helped me find deeper alignment with my work and confidence in making the decisions that have shaped where I am in my business today.
If I’ve learned anything - it’s that there is no one way to grow a creative photography business. Rebranded
I’ve relocated my business to a new city (…twice in two years…), building entirely new networks, with a ton of lessons learned along the way.
I gently stepped back from wedding and family work to focus on commercial, portrait and brand. This was a huge exercise in brand positioning and strategy.
In line with multiple relocations and pivoting my focus, I have worked with creative partners to strategically re-designing my brand narrative, website and presentation of my portfolio.
