Gatineau Wine Bar Soif Bar à Vin | Ottawa Photographer

The team at Soif Bar à Vin invited me to capture their indoor and outdoor spaces and experience in September to refresh their library of imagery before the seasons changed. Before we shot, we aligned on some inspiration imagery for the kind of photos that resonated most with their brand and held a couple of dates in the calendar to target the most optimal weather (choosing a little closer-to based on the forecast).

Shooting in busy establishments like Soif can be sometimes challenging to carve out the right window of time since the space is often busy with patrons (and we didn’t want to interrupt their experience). We decided to shoot in the late afternoon just before the evening rush, so we could curate some spots for our shoot when the space wasn’t at its full capacity.

A huge thank you to Roxanne, Vero, Katrina and the rest of the Soif team for having me. This was such a fun project and I look forward to our next one together!
