Best of 2023 | Amanda Thirkill Photography

Closing out a year *PACKED* with new challenges and new adventures, and so I’ve put together a (not comprehensive) collection of some of my favourite captures from 2023.

This was a big year. It was my first work year without capturing weddings in more than 10 years, and my first year growing my business in a new beautiful city (looking at you, Ottawa) having relocated from Sudbury in February. I travelled across 5 provinces and 2 countries for work (and another 3 for personal travels), and did the 5.5-hour Ottawa/Sudbury drive a total of 17 times.

A major shout out to all the amazing people I connected with this year who have helped me close the year with gratitude. 2024’s got some big shoes to fill!
